She wore a grey crepe-de-chine dress and hat to match, trimmed with pink roses and mauve leaves, was given away by her father. She was attended by her sister, Miss Evelyn Pulling, and her cousin Miss Doris Pask. The best man was Mr. J. Clayton, of Lincoln. Afterwards a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, and later the happy couple proceeded to Lincoln, their future home. They were the recipients of many handsome and useful presents.5,6,3 Mary Helen PULLING witnessed the baptism of Michael WOOD on 11 July 1937 in St. Sebastian's Church, Great Gonerby, Lincolnshire; His godparents were John Clifton & Mary Helen LANE née PULLING, and William Arthur PULLING.7
Her husband, John, died in St. Mary's Hospital, Dunstable Road, Luton, Bedfordshire.3

Reginald served in World War I. He was a 2nd Lieutenant in the 3rd Battalion, London Regiment, and the 8th Battalion, Gurkha Regiment. He then transferred to become a Pilot in the Royal Flying Corps in 85 Squadron - Sergeant, 55192.2,3,4,5,6,7
Reginald was killed whilst flying in a Dolphin C4145 on 22 March 1918, in Hounslow, Middlesex. He spun into ground off roll.6,8,9,10 Reginald is commemorated in perpetuity in Grave 135 Path Side 28332, Kensal Green All Souls' Cemetery, London.8
