     Bertie ULYAT was born on 13 April 1894 in Lincoln, Lincolnshire.1,2,3 He was the son of Abraham ULYAT and Lucy PASK.1
In the census of 31 March 1901 in 93 High Street, Lincoln, Lincolnshire, he was listed as aged 6 born in Lincoln, the son of Lucy ULYAT.4
In the census of 2 April 1911 in 112 High Street, Lincoln, Lincolnshire, he was listed as a Chemist's Apprentice, aged 16 born in Lincoln, the son of Lucy ULYAT.5
Bertie married Kathleen Ada MASON in 1922 in the Rochford registration district.6
On 29 September 1939, in the 1939 National Register, Bertie and his wife Kathleen, were listed as living in 15 Meadway, Ilford, Essex. He was born on 13 April 1894, and his occupation was a Chemist & Druggist Manager. Their daughter Pamela was assumed to be living with them.7
His wife, Kathleen, died on 8 July 1967 in 12 Grimwade Close, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, at the age of 74.8,9
His wife's, Kathleen Ada ULYAT, estate was probated to him on 17 August 1967 at the Gloucester Probate Office.9
Bertie died on 10 May 1972 in 12 Grimwade Close, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, at the age of 78.2,10,3

     Ernest ULYAT was born on 6 July 1895, in the Lincoln registration district.1,2 He was the son of Abraham ULYAT and Lucy PASK.1
In the census of 31 March 1901 in 93 High Street, Lincoln, Lincolnshire, he was listed as aged 5 born in Lincoln, the son of Lucy ULYAT.3
In the census of 2 April 1911 in 112 High Street, Lincoln, Lincolnshire, he was listed as a Hairdresser's Apprentice, aged 15 born in Lincoln, the son of Lucy ULYAT.4
Ernest married Harriett Eliza PARKER in 1916 in the Lincoln registration district.5
Ernest, and his wife Harriett, separated in the 1930s. Ernest lived with his future wife, Evelyn in Nottingham.6
On 29 September 1939, in the 1939 National Register, Ernest and his wife Evelyn, were listed as living at 71 Willoughby Street, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire. He was born on 6 July 1895, and his occupation was an Auxiliary Post Man, Part Time Hairdresser, and a Special Constable. There was also a redacted entry.2
Ernest married Evelyn Ida SWAINSTON in 1948 in the Nottingham registration district.7
Ernest died on 11 October 1965 in Oak Cottage, Chapel Lane, Hemeringham, Lincolnshire, at the age of 70.8,9,10
His estate was probated on 24 November 1965 in Lincoln Probate Registry, Lincoln, Lincolnshire.9
His wife's, Evelyn, death was registered in 1986 in the Congleton & Crewe registration district.11,12,13

Research Note: Iain Baird wrote:
"I have been researching Ernest and Edwin Ulyat, brothers from Lincoln ... I have a newspaper photo of an 'E Ulyat' from late April 1927 ... The story is that the person in the photo acted as a spirit medium in a seance. It seems to have been a one-off, as I have found no further seances given by him in Lincoln or elsewhere. I am, however, trying to figure out which brother it is in the photo."14
