The principal residence is Wonastow Court, built for the Herberts in the time of Henry VI., but now the seat of Sir W. Pilkington, Bart. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Llandaff, value 100. The church is dedicated to St. Wormow or to St. John the Baptist
