Since starting the One-Name Study we have received inquiries from throughout the world. Although the majority of the data sources are UK-based, through co-researchers the information is rapidly increasing and including other countries records.

The majority of the progenitors were from England and Wales, in particular the main locations of Lincolnshire, Suffolk, Monmouthshire and Essex.

However through immigration there are now families located worldwide, in particularly in America, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand. Other countries include:
