     Philip Sydney SELBY was born on 23 February 1901 in Oasby, Lincolnshire. His parents were John Thomas & Florence Marion SELBY.3,2,1,4,5 In the census of 31 March 1901 in Heydour, Lincolnshire, he was listed as aged 1 month born in Aisby Lincolnshire. He was living with his parents John Thomas, a Farmer, mother Florence Marian, and siblings Frances Elizabeth, John Archer, and Margaret May. Also listed was a servant Elizabeth HOPKINSON, a Domestic Nurse.4
Philip married Ida PASK, daughter of George Albert PASK and Kate AVERY, on 5 October 1929 in St. John the Evangelist, Grantham, Lincolnshire.6,7,8
He was in a photograph taken on circa 1950.8
Philip died on 29 April 1994 in Grantham, Lincolnshire, at the age of 93.9,5

Research Note: Keith Weightman is researching his family history who were Weightmans who farmed at Aisby Oasby, and Heydour from around 1810 to 1926. Sid Selby was his 1st cousin, twice removed. Keith's information is available on Ancestry.10,11
