Charles Frederick Walter PARSK1

     Charles Frederick Walter PARSK was born on 11 March 1893 in Kirkley, Suffolk.2,3,1 He was the son of Walter PASKE and Sarah Elizabeth KNIGHTS.2 In the census of 31 March 1901 in White Cottages, Carlton Colville, Suffolk, he was listed as the nephew of Sarah PASQUE.2
In the census of 2 April 1911 in 2 Farrow's Yard, Factory Street, Lowestoft, Suffolk, he was listed as a Fisherman, aged 18 born in Lowestoft, the son of Walter PASK.4 Charles was killed in action on 1 January 1915, fighting in World War I in H.M.S. Formidable at the age of 21. HMS Formidable was the first battleship to be sunk during WWI. The ship was sunk on 1st January 1915 while on Channel patrol off Portland Hill by torpedoes of German U-Boat U-24, losing 547 men from her complement of 780. The ship sunk quickly during bad weather which caused such a high loss of life.5,6,7 Charles is commemorated in perpetuity in Chatham Naval Memorial, Chatham, Kent.5,6,8

     Arthur George PASK was born on 14 November 1847 in Chedburgh, Suffolk.1,2,3,4,5 He was the son of Ann PASK.3 In the census of 30 March 1851 in Chedburgh, Suffolk, he was listed as aged 3 born in Chedburgh, the wife's son [the step-son] of Josiah ORRISS.6 In the census of 7 April 1861 in 15 St. Andrews Street, Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, he was listed as aged 13 born in Bury St. Edmunds, the son [step-son] of Josiah ORRISS.7
Arthur married Emma CLARKE on 15 December 1876 in the Registry Office, Sudbury, Suffolk. He was a Shoemaker, a Bachelor aged 28, residing at Stanstead. No father was listed. The marriage was witnessed by William Smith, and Frances Jane Clarke.2,8,9,10 At the time of his son's birth registration on 30 May 1877, he was listed as a Shoemaker and they were living at Stanstead, Suffolk. Similarly when their sons Harry & Horatio were born.11,12
In the census of 3 April 1881 in Stanstead, Suffolk, Arthur was listed as aged 33 born in Chedburgh, the Head of Household; a Boot and Shoemaker, living with his wife Emma and sons Bertie C., and Harry.2 In the census of 5 April 1891, he was listed as a Shoemaker, married aged 43 born in Chedburgh, a Prisoner in the Police Station, Hall Street East, Melford, Suffolk.13
In the census of 31 March 1901 in Upper Street, Stanstead, Suffolk, Arthur was listed as aged 53 born in Chedburgh, the Head of Household; a Shoemaker living with his wife Emma and sons Horatio, and Thomas.14
His wife, Emma, died on 2 September 1930 in Upper Green, Stanstead, Suffolk, at the age of 83.15,16 Prior to his death, Arthur George PASK lived at Upper Street, Stanstead, Suffolk; a Farm Labourer.17
Arthur died on 16 January 1932 in Walnut Tree Hospital, Sudbury, Suffolk, at the age of 84.18,17

Emma married Arthur George PASK, son of Ann PASK, on 15 December 1876 in the Registry Office, Sudbury, Suffolk. She was a Spinster aged 28, residing at Stanstead. Her father was listed as William Clarke, a Husbandman. The marriage was witnessed by William Smith, and Frances Jane Clarke.1,4,5,6
She was the informant of the registration of the birth of her son Bertie Charles PASK who was born on 20 April 1877 at Stanstead, Suffolk.1,7,8,9,10 At the time of her son's birth registration on 30 May 1877, Arthur & Emma were living in Stanstead, Suffolk, and Arthur's occupation was a Shoemaker. Similiarly when their sons Harry & Horatio were born.9,11 Emma was the informant of the registration of the birth of her son Harry PASK who was born on 18 August 1879 at Stanstead, Suffolk.1,12,11

     William Henry Isaac PASK was born on 13 October 1891 in Hackney, London.2,3,1 He was the son of Isaac Snushall PASK and Amelia Margaret RATTRAY.2 At the time of his baptism, he lived with his parents Isaac and Amelia in 16 Tilia Road, Hackney, London.1 He was baptised on 4 December 1891 in St. John, Wandsworth, London.1
In the census of 31 March 1901 in 24 Silvermere Road, Lewisham, London, he was listed as the son of Frederick PASK.2 In the census of 2 April 1911 in 18 White Hart Street, Kennington, London, he was listed as a Barmen aged 19 born in Hackney, the son of Frederick PASK.4
William married Elsie Mary STREET in 1927 in the Wandsworth registration district.5,6
At the time of his death, William lived at 61 Bickersteth Road, London.7
William died on 11 June 1969, at the age of 77, and his death was registered in the Wandsworth registration district.3,7
His estate was probated on 8 August 1969 at the London Probate Registry, London.7
His wife, Elsie, died on 21 January 1991 in the Sutton registration district.8

     Dora Maud BIDWELL was born on 28 December 1902 in Stow, Suffolk. She was the daughter of Isaac & Florence BIDWELL, a Hurdle Maker.1,4,5,6,7
Dora married Philip Eric PARSK, son of Philip Andrew PASQUE and Lilian Maude NAUNTON, in 1924 in the Stow registration district.1,8
On 29 September 1939, in the 1939 National Register, Dora and her husband Phillip, were listed as living in 2 Jubille Terrace, Thedwastre, Suffolk. She was born on 28 December 1902, and her occupation was Unpaid Domestic Duties. Also listed with their son John P., and probably Derrick Isaac, and Barbara N.6
Dora died in 1983 in Elmswell, Suffolk.1,5
Her husband, Philip, died in October 1988 in the Bury St. Edmunds registration district.9 Dora & her husband Eric are buried in Elmswell Parish Cemetery, Elmswell, Suffolk.10
