Chart 01: Lincolnshire Main Progenitor - John PASK, (c1520 - 1591) he lived in Washingborough, Lincolnshire and married three times #7201
Sometime in the 1880s Filomela had a relationship with Charles PASK.
Filomela married Charles PASK, son of George PASK and Betsy WOOLHOUSE, between 1886 and 1891. It is unsure whether they married in the US, or in England.3,4 On 1 July 1887, at the time of the birth of their daughter Mina Gabrielli, Filomela and Charles lived at 27 South Parade, Chelsea, London. He was a Horse Dealer. Mina shortly afterwards died at the same address.5,6 Filomela was the informant of the registration of the birth of her daughter Mina Gabrielli PASK who was born on 1 July 1887 at 27 South Parade, Chelsea, London.7,5 Filomela was the informant on the death certificate of her daughter Mina Gabrielli PASK who died at the age of 6 weeks on 15 August 1887 at 27 South Parade, Chelsea, London.8,6
Charles, and Filomela immigrated to America. In the 1900 US census, it states that Charles & Filomela immigrated in 1888. However, in the 1930 US census is states 1895.
Photographs of their family were included in the photograph album of Caroline Lewis née Pask (Charles' sister.)9,10,11,3
In the census of 2 June 1900 in New York, Manhattan County, New York State, USA, she was listed as the wife of Charles PASK (a Coachman, living with his wife Filamela [Filomela], and children Marchall [Marshall], Durant, Lucius, Lawrence, and Royal C. Also listed was a servant Barbara KOSDALE, and an assistant Frederick BATT). Filamela was aged 31 born in November 1868 in England. She was married for 14 years and mother to 6 children with 5 living. Her father and mother were born in England.3
In the census of 8 April 1930 in Little Neck, Queens County, New York State, USA, she was listed as aged 55 born in England, the wife of Charles PASK. (a House owner (no occupation stated), living with this wife Filomena, and sons Lucius and Lawrence). Furthermore, it was shown that she was first married at the age of 17, and that her father and mother were born in England. She immigrated in 1895 and was an alien with no occupation.4
Her husband, Charles, died on 22 April 1939 in 41-53 Glenwood, New York, Queens County, New York State, USA, at the age of 83.12,13
Filomela died on 14 February 1957 in Parmus, Bergen County, New Jersey, USA.14,15 Filomela was buried in the family plot in Plot Ideal 97, Section 9, Graves 1, 2 & 3, Ocean View Cemetery, Amboy Road, Oakwood Heights, Staten Island, Richmond County, New York State, USA.13,14
Research Note: There seems to be several descrepancies when Filomena and Charles immigrated. In the 1900 census, it shows they immigrated in 1888. However in the 1930 census it is stated that they immigrated in 1895.3,4
