     John Carroll PAISLEY was born on 10 July 1899 in Maxwell Street, Dalbeattie, Kircudbrightshire. He was the son of James & Ellen Jane PAISLEY née KENNEDY.1
John married Edna BEARD, daughter of John BEARD and Mary Hannah PASK, on 1 April 1946 in Abergavenny, Monmouthshire.1
John and Edna were divorced.1
John died in 1977 in Aspatra, Cumberland.1
