In the census of 31 March 1901 in Lutton Marsh, Sutton St. Nicholas, Lutton, Lincolnshire, George was listed as unmarried aged 40 born in Fosdyke, the Head of Household; a General Labourer, with a Housekeeper called Harriet SALTER, together with their children Eliza, Alice, James, Robert, and Fanny.7
