     Commander Nigel MATTHEWS was born on 27 January 1921 in South Kensington, where his father was a GP. He was educated at Graham Street prep (now Francis Holland school), and entered Dartmouth in the Benbow term of 1934. He served in the Navy reaching the rank of Commander.

His naval career was detailed in the Daily Telegraph on 3 March 2011.2
Nigel married Annette Linthorne PASK née PINHEY in 1979 in the Surrey S. W. registration district.1,3
His wife, Annette, died in 2008 in the Portsmouth registration district.4,2
Nigel died on 19 December 2010 at the age of 89.2

     Hepzibah ARGENT was born on 15 August 1833 in Stambourne, Essex.1,2,3 She was the daughter of Abraham ARGENT and Phoebe PASK.1,2 She was baptised on 29 September 1833 in Essex.2
In the census of 6 June 1841 in Crays End Way, Stambourne, Essex, she was listed as 'Hepsabeth' aged 14 born in Essex, assumed to be the daughter of Abraham ARGENT.4
In the census of 30 March 1851 in Finchingfield Road, Stambourne, Essex, she was listed as a Straw Plaiter, aged 17 born in Stambourne, the daughter of Abraham ARGENT.1
She immigrated together with her brother Allen, and his wife Emma, with their children Rebecca, and Matilda, to Sydney Australia, arriving on 1 August 1855; They emmigrated in 1855 on the ship "Lloyds" with their two children - Rebecca & Matilda; and his sister Hepzibah, arriving in Sydney on 1 August 1855.5,6
Hepzibah died on 7 September 1863 in Port Macquarie, New South Wales, Australia, at the age of 30.7

     Mabel FINNEY was born in 1885 in Louth, Lincolnshire.1,3
Mabel married John William PASK, son of John William PASK and Mary Anne PADDISON, in 1908 in the Louth registration district.2
In the census of 2 April 1911 in Louth, Lincolnshire, she was listed as aged 25 born in Louth, married 3 years with 1 child living, the wife of John William PASK (an Engine Cleaner, living with his wife Mabel, and their 2-year old son Eric.)1
Mabel died in 1914 in the Louth registration district.4

     George PASK was baptised on 25 March 1764 in All Saints' Church, Wellingore, Lincolnshire.1,2,3 He was the son of George PASK and Mary BAKER.1,2
George married Elizabeth PASK née ? circa 1785.4
His wife, was buried on 1 June 1824 in Horncastle, Lincolnshire.4,5
George died on 24 May 1825 in Horncastle, Lincolnshire, at the age of 61.5,6 He was buried on 26 May 1825 in Horncastle, Lincolnshire.5
His death was announced in the Stamford Mercury, Stamford, Lincolnshire, on 27 May 1825.6 It read:
On Tuesday last, at Horncastle, Mr. George Pask, for many years an eminent maltster there, aged 63. In him, many a poor man has lost a true friend.6
