George Julian MOULDS was born on 8 June 1880 in Somerby (near Grantham), Lincolnshire.2,1,3,4 He was the son of George MOULDS and Mary Emma DURANCE.1 He was baptised on 27 June 1880 in St. Mary Magdalene's Church, Somerby (near Grantham), Lincolnshire.5
In the census of 3 April 1881 in Parish House, Somerby (near Grantham), Lincolnshire, he was listed as aged 9 months born in Somerby, the son of George MOULDS.6
In the census of 5 April 1891 in Village Street, Somerby (near Grantham), Lincolnshire, he was listed as aged 10 born in Somerby, the son of George MOULDS.7
George married Betsy Hewitt HARRISON in 1904 in the Grantham registration district.8

George Julian and Betsy both came from Old Somerby farming families, but there wasn't enough work on the land to support big families, so GJ signed on for the railways during a visit to Nottingham Goose Fair.
Betsy was an assistant schoolmistress at Old Somerby school (headteacher Miss Snape) until she married.
Eventually the family arrived in Shipley, West Yorkshire, where GJ was signalman at the Windhill signalbox.9
On 29 September 1939, in the 1939 National Register, George and his wife Betsy, were listed as living at 37 Carr Lane, Shipley, Yorkshire. He was born on 8 June 1880, and his occupation was a Railway Signalman. Also listed were their two sons, Sidney W., and Fred.3
George was in a photograph in Windhill Signal Box, Shipley, Yorkshire.9
George, and his wife Betsy Hewitt were in a photograph taken on 19 December 1964, when they celebrated their Diamond Wedding Anniversary.9
His wife's, Betsy, death was registered in 1969 in the Bradford registration district.10
George's death was registered in 1976 in the Bradford registration district.1,4

In the census of 2 April 1911 in Churchyard Lane, Somerby (near Grantham), Lincolnshire, he was listed as aged 11 born in Old Somerby, the son of George MOULDS.6
Alfred married Doris Irene TOWLSON in 1933 in the Shardlow registration district.3,7
On 29 September 1939, in the 1939 National Register, Alfred and his wife Doris, were listed as living at 59 Bramcote Avenue, Chilwell, Beeston, Nottinghamshire. He was born on 28 April 1899, and his occupation was a Dairy Farm Foreman. Also listed was their daughter Sheila.3
Alfred died in 1978 in the Basford registration district.4,8
His wife, Doris, died on 4 April 1979 in 59 Bramcote Avenue, Chilwell, Beeston, Nottinghamshire, at the age of 82.9,10
