Nelson Lee Pask, age 50, of Clinton passed away March 1, 2013.
He was born Oct. 21, 1962, in Tecumseh, the son of Calvin and Billie (Shepherd) Pask. Nelson attended Clinton High School. He was an accomplished musician and DJ and enjoyed camping and the outdoors.
He is survived by his son, Brandon Pask of Adrian; father, Calvin (Melinda) Pask of Onsted; two sisters, Linda (Dave) Fowler of Clayton and Julie (Mike) Wallace of Cement City; and two brothers, Alan Pask of Brooklyn and Jeffrey (Michelle) Pask of Ypsilanti. He was preceded in death by his mother, Billie, in 1993.
Nelson was deeply loved and will be sadly missed.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday March 9, 2013, at St. Joseph Shrine Catholic Church in the Irish Hills, with the Rev. Fr. Tom Wasilewski officiating. Burial will be in St. Dominic Cemetery, Clinton. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of mass Saturday at the church.²

Carol Louise (Strand) Whelan, age 67, of Tecumseh, went home to be with the Lord on May 9, 2015. She was surrounded by her family. She was born in Tecumseh on April 21, 1948 to Henry and Betty (Pask) Strand. Carol was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Elizabeth/St. Dominic Catholic Parishes. Her faith and her family were the most important things in her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Michael Whelan and two nephews. She is survived by her 9 children, David Walker, Norman (Katherine) Walker, Jessica (Gerald) Roles, Archie (Denise) Walker, Michelle (Craig) Ferry, Scottie II (Crystal) Walker, Dominique Walker, Eric (Danielle) Walker and Shawn Walker, 16 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and 10 siblings, Madonna, Henry, Sonja, Terrance, Mark, Joann, Marcelle, Tina, Darlene and Mitchell. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2015, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM & 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:30 PM at Purse Funeral Home at 2959 N. Adrian Hwy., Adrian, MI 49221 . The Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Parish at 506 N Union St., Tecumseh, MI 49286 with Fr. Daniel Wheeler presiding. She will be laid to rest at Brookside Cemetery in Tecumseh. Memorial contributions may be made to Carol's children for final expenses.¹

Henry "Fred" Alfred Strand III, age 65, of Tecumseh passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Nov. 6, 2015, after a long illness. He was born Nov. 10, 1949, in Tecumseh, the oldest son of Henry and Betty (Pask) Strand II.Fred is survived by his adoring wife of 33 years, Margaret; and his children, Fred (DeAnna) Strand of Tecumseh, Pam (Scott) Muske of Fairfax, Minn., Andrea (Tracy) Green of Adrian, Jason (Stacie) Strand of Clinton, and Chad Strand of Tecumseh; and his grandchildren, Kennedy, Nikkole and Trey Strand, Braden and Landon Strand, Nick Strand, Justin Harvey, and Maria, Sam and Andy Muske. He also loved his extended family very much! He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Budd Strand; and sister, Carol Whelan.
Over the years, Fred was employed at Double A of Manchester, Eden Foods, Bradley Chevrolet and the Knights of Columbus. He owned S & S Auto and Truck in Tecumseh for seven years. Fred was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Tecumseh. Fred enjoyed the outdoors, boating, fishing and get-togethers with family and friends.
A mass of the Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Tecumseh, with Fr. Daniel Wheeler officiating.Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11 , 2015, at J.
