MARRIED In WATERLOO.
Dunkerton, March 23.--(Special.) -- Miss Edna Cummings and Mr. Joseph Moulds, both of Dunkerton, were married at 9 o'clock this morning at the parsonage of First Lutheran church, 110 High street, Waterloo, by Rev. Henry Mueller. They were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Austin Allen. Mr. and Mrs. Moulds have both resided in Dunkerton for some time. The couple will visit his brother, John, at Minneapolis, and on their return will stop off at Oelwein for a visit with her grandparents. They will make their home in Dunkerton.⁵

Edna May Moulds, 86, of 1050 Fourth Ave. SE, a 30-year resident of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Dunkerton and Fairbank, died Friday at St. Luke's Hospital following a sudden illness.
Born Dec. 10, 1894, in Randalia, Iowa, she was married to Joe Moulds on March 23. 1916, at Waterloo. He preceded her in death in May 1976. She was a nurses' aide at St. Luke's for 20 years prior to her retirement in 1970. She was a member of the Lovely Lane United Methodist Church and a past member of the Royal Neighbors.
Surviving are one son, Gordon of Marion; three daughters, Irene Wittkop of Jesup. Marlyn Fox of Phoenix. Ariz., and Dona Mae Venz of Fairbank; a sister, Neva Siggelkov of Dunkerton; 13 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
Services: 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Lovely Lane United Methodist Church by the Rev. Lawrence Garrett. Burial: Dunkerton Cemetery. The casket will be closed prior to the service. Friends may call at the Cedar Memorial Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Sunday and at the church after 11 a.m. Tuesday. Friends may make a contribution to the Lovely Lane United Methodist memorial fund.¹⁰

Dunkerton, Ia.--At 2:30 p. m. Sunday Miss Irene Eola Moulds, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Moulds, Dunkerton, became the bride of Edward F. Wittkop, son of Mr. and Mrs, H. L. Wittkop, Jesup, in the Methodist church at Dunkerton. A reception in the bride's home followed the wedding. Mrs. Wittkop graduated from the School of Business of Upper Iowa university at Fayette. The couple will live on a farm near Jesup after July 1.⁵

Area residents celebrate anniversaries (COURIER NEWS SERVICE)
JESUP -- Observing their 25th wedding anniversary next Sunday will be Mr. and Mrs Edward Wittkop. They will have an "open house" at the Methodist Church parlors from 2 to 5 p.m. preceded by a family dinner at their home at noon. Mr. Wittkop and Miss Irene Moulds were married June 30, 1940, in the Methodist Church at Dunkerton. They have four children: Mrs. Robert Thomsen, Spring Park Lake, Minn; Jerry and Jim, both serving in the U. S. Navy at Long Beach, Calif; and Joe, at home. Mr. and Mrs. Wittkop are employed at the Mental Health Institute at Independence.⁷

Irene E. Wittkop, 93 of Jesup, died Saturday. Nov. 13, 2010 Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19, at the First United Methodist Church, Jesup. with burial at Cedar Crest Cemetery, Jesup. Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at White Funeral Home, Jesup, and one hour before services Friday at the church.
Mrs. Wittkop is survived by three sons. Jerry L. (Vergie) Wittkop of Nolanville, Texas, Jim D. (Edna Mae) Wittkop or Des Moines, and Joe
Wittkop of Prairie Grove, Ark; one daughter, Joyce (Eldon Glessing) Thomsen-Glessing of Howard Lake, Minn; nine grandchildren;
five great-grandchildren; and two sisters. Marlyn (Bernard) Fox of Phoenix. Ariz., and Dona Venz of Fairbank.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward (1997); her parents; and one brother, Gordon Moulds.
She worked 27 years as a nurse's aide at the Mental Health Institute in Independence.

Gordon Dale "Shorty" Moulds, 76, of 1050 8th St., died Friday, Jan. 22, 1998, in St. Luke's Hospital, following a sudden illness. Survivors include his wife, Adrienne; a daughter, Mary McCusker and husband Bill of Marion; four sons, Scott of Springfield, Ill., Dave, and Robin and wife Dorothy, all of Marion, and Brian and wife Pat of Robins; three sisters, Irene Wittkop of Jesup, Marlyn Fox of Phoenix, and Dona Venz of Fairbank; and 11 grandchildren.
He is also survived by Spook the cat and his dog Teddy.
Shorty was born June 12, 1921 in Racine, Minn., to Joe and Edna Cummings Moulds. He married Adrienne M. Baer on July 6, 1942 in Lancaster, Mo. He worked as a tool grinder for Rockwell-Goss from 1966 to 1986. He was a member of Christ Community Church United Methodist. His hobbies included building and playing Dulcimers, gardening, and collecting stringed instruments.

MISS DONA MOULDS Fairbank, Ia.
The marriage of Miss Donna Mae Moulds, 320 Vine street, Waterloo, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Moulds of Fairbank, to Lester Venz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Venz of Charles City, will take place in the Little Brown church in Nashua, June 22 at 2 p. m.
The bride was formerly employed in Waterloo by the Rath Packing Co. and is now employed at the Black Hawk County Abstract Co. there.
The groom served In the army as aide to a doctor on a hospital ship during World war II, and is now employed by Construction Machinery Co., Waterloo.⁴

Miss Dona Mae Moulds Bride at Nashua Church
An announcement has been received here of the marriage of Miss Dona Mae Moulds, 320 Vine street, to Lester Venz of Bassett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Venz of Charles City.
The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Moulds of Fairbank, was wed in a double ring service Sunday afternoon in the Little Brown church at Nashua with Rev. F. L. Hanscom officiating. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Adams of Charles City, brother-in-law and sister of the groom, were the attendants.
After a week's wedding trip, the couple will be at home at 320 Vine street. The bride is employed by the Black Hawk County Abstract Co., and the groom is a Construction Machinery Co. employee.⁶

Dona M. Venz (1927-2014)
FAIRBANK — Dona Mae Venz, of rural Fairbank, died Tuesday, Sept. 30, at Buchanan County Health Center in Independence.
She was born May 30, 1927, in Dunkerton, daughter of Joe Moulds and Edna Mae Cummings Moulds. On June 22, 1947, she married Lester Wilbur Venz at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. He preceded her in death in 1992.
She graduated from Dunkerton High School in 1944. In earlier years Dona worked at Rath Packing, the Waterloo Abstract office and for 26 years at the Bell Telephone office, retiring in 1991. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Jesup, and did volunteer work at the Mental Health Institute in Independence. She received the Governor's Volunteer Award in 2003.
Survived by: a daughter, Lesona (John) Walker of Hazleton; a son, Steven (Jerry Lea) of Tuttle, Okla; a daughter-in-law, Theresa Venz of Independence; five grandchildren, Sarah (Troy) Lange, Matthew (Jesse) Rogers, Jonathan Rogers, Lester Venz and Kaylea Venz; four great-grandchildren, Kacie Lange, Kaden Lange, Memphis Rogers and Alden Rogers; a sister-in-law, Doris Adams of Ionia: and a special friend, Charles Miller of Fairbank.
Preceded in death by: a son, Jack; her parents; a brother, Gordon Moulds; and two sisters, Irene Wittkop and Martyn Fox.
Services: 10 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church, Jesup, with burial in Fairview Cemetery, Dunkerton. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at White Funeral Home, Jesup, and for an hour before services Saturday at the church.

Adrienne Mae Baer Moulds, 80, of 1123 Ninth St., died Tuesday, May 25, 2004, in her home after a long illness. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. Becky High. Entombment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary McCusker and husband Bill of Marion; four sons, Scott of Springfield, Ill., Dave, Robin and wife Dorothy and Brian, all of Marion; and two sisters, Nancy Eldridge of Dunkerton and Nannette Thies of Denver, Iowa. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Baer.
Adrienne was born July 26, 1923, in Nemaha, Iowa, the daughter of Walter and Elsie Howe Baer. She married Gordon "Shorty" Moulds on July 6, 1942, in Lancaster, Mo. He died in 1998. Adrienne worked for both Mr. and Mrs. John B. Turner for many years and later was a supervisor for central services at St. Luke's Hospital, retiring from there after several years of service.
She was a faithful member of Christ Community Church United Methodist. Adrienne enjoyed painting, reading books, writing poetry, telling stories and especially time spent with her family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Christ Community Church United Methodist in Adrienne's name.⁵
