Vera Irene Joyce COLE1
On 29 September 1939, in the 1939 Register, Louisa was assumed to be living with her mother in 86 High Street, Cheshunt, Hertfordshire. Her entry in the Register is redacted, due to age; There were four 'redacted' entries - three of them are believed to be her daughters Phyllis, Vera, and Olive.5
Vera married Alexander J. VINTER in 1945 in the Ware registration district.6
Vera died on 23 February 2011 in Cranbourne, Victoria, Australia, at the age of 87. She had dementia and like her mother she had been blind for the last 10 years of her life. She also had lung cancer as she had been a smoker since her early teens and had not heeded the doctor's repeated warnings over the years to stop smoking.7 Her body was cremated, and her ashes are resting in Berwick Cemetery, Berwick, Victoria, Australia.7
