She was listed in the census of 7 June 1841 at Bridge Street, Horncastle, Lincolnshire, a Glovemaker, aged 20.4
Maria married James KNIGHT in 1849 in the Horncastle registration district.3 In the census of 7 April 1861 in 48 Long Lane, Louth, Lincolnshire, Maria was listed as married (although her husband was not present), aged 38 born in Timberland, the Head of Household a Boot & Shoe Binder, living with her son John.3

John married Susannah EMPINGHAM on 21 February 1822 in St. Andrew's Church, Timberland, Lincolnshire. He was a Bachelor otp. The marriage was witnessed by ? WEST, and Edmund FARNSWORTH.1,4,5
In the census of 7 June 1841 in Timberland, Lincolnshire, John was listed as aged 60, the Head of Household an Agricultural Labourer assumed to be living with his wife "Susanah" and children Ruth, and Edward.6
In the census of 7 June 1841 he was a neighbour of John PASK.6
In the census of 30 March 1851 in Timberland, Lincolnshire, John was listed as aged 75 born in Gautby, the Head of Household a Chelsea Pensioner, living with his wife Susan and a lodger Joseph BONES.7,8
John died in 1851 in Timberland, Lincolnshire.9 He was buried on 19 November 1851 in St. Andrew's Church, Timberland, Lincolnshire.10,11
His wife's, Susan, death was registered in August 1876 in the Sleaford registration district.12

Susannah married John PASK, son of John PASK and Elizabeth FOUNTAIN, on 21 February 1822 in St. Andrew's Church, Timberland, Lincolnshire. She was Spinster otp. Susannah had had previously three children by Simeon HOLMES - Elizabeth Empringham b.1816; William Empringham b.1818; & John Empringham b.1819. The marriage was witnessed by ? WEST, and Edmund FARNSWORTH.1,3,4
In the census of 7 June 1841 in Timberland, Lincolnshire, she was listed as aged 50 assumed to be the wife of John PASK (an Agricultural Labourer assumed to be living with his wife "Susanah" and children Ruth, and Edward.)5
In the census of 30 March 1851 in Timberland, Lincolnshire, she was listed as aged 56 born in Hagworthingham, the wife of John PASK (a Chelsea Pensioner, living with his wife Susan and a lodger Joseph BONES.)2,6
Her husband, John, died in 1851 in Timberland, Lincolnshire.7 Susan married Robert NEWTON on 8 June 1852 in St. Andrew's Church, Timberland, Lincolnshire. She was a Widow of full age, residing in Timberland. Her father was listed as James "ELPRINGHAM", a Labourer. The marriage was witnessed by Joseph BONES, and Mary EMPRINGHAM.8,9
In the census of 7 April 1861 in Blankney, Lincolnshire, Susannah was listed as a widow aged 64 born in Hagworthingham, Lincolnshire, the Head of Household; a Cottager Labourer, living with two lodgers John HELPERINGHAM, an Agricultural Labourer aged 60 born in Hagworthingham, Lincolnshire [probably her brother], and Edward PAST [Edward PASK], an Agricultural Labourer aged 26 born in Timberland [her son].10
In the census of 2 April 1871 in Blankney, Lincolnshire, Susan was listed as a Widow, aged 77 born in Blankney, the Head of Household; a Cottager of 7 Acres, living with her son Edward and his wife Eliza, and their children John, Joseph, Hannah, and Mary J.11
Susan died in August 1876 in the Sleaford registration district.12 She was buried on 17 August 1876 in St. Oswald's Church, Blankney, Lincolnshire.13

In the census of 7 April 1861 in Timberland, Lincolnshire, she was listed as aged 8 born in Timberland, the daughter of Richard PASK.3 In the census of 2 April 1871 in Blankney, Lincolnshire, she was listed as a Nursemaid, aged 19 born in Timberland, a servant of William CARTWRIGHT, a Farmer.6
