In the census of 2 April 1871 in Dane Common, Kedington, Suffolk, Joseph was listed as aged 38 born in Kedington, the Head of Household; an Agricultural Labourer, living with his wife Susan, and their children Ellen, Eliza, Elijah, Elias, Harriet, and Eli.4
In the census of 3 April 1881 in Dane Common, Kedington, Suffolk, Joseph was listed as aged 43 born in Kedington, the Head of Household; an Agricultural Labourer, living with his wife Susan, and their children Elijah, Harriet, Elias, Eli, Arthur, Emily, Thomas, Emma, and Alice. However, Thomas, and Alice were infact their grandchildren.5
In the census of 5 April 1891 in Martins Lane, Kedington, Suffolk, Joseph was listed as aged 58 born in Kedington, the Head of Household; an Agricultural Labourer, living with his wife Susan, and their children Eliza J., Arthur, and Emily. Also listed were their grandchildren Thomas, Minnie, Henry, and William COOTE.6
In the census of 31 March 1901 in Calford Green, Martins Lane, Kedington, Suffolk, Joseph was listed as aged 68 born in Kedington, the Head of Household; an Agricultural Labourer, living with his wife Susan, and their son Arthur. Also listed was their granddaughter Lillie COOTE.7
Joseph died in 1905 in the Risbridge registration district.8,9

Research Note: Mary Ann had a brother Henry Richard HAYLOCK, who was the 2 x great-grandfather of Robert 'Bob' HAYLOCK who is researching his family history, and kindly provided information and photographs on his family.

Henry Richard was a local gamekeeper. His wife was Eliza Ann née RUDDOCK. Eliza died on December 30, 1900 and is buried at St. James Church in Stanstead.12

Her husband 'Harry' was listed together with their son Philip residing in Chelmsford. Her youngest daughter Hetty was living with her aunt Emily in Haverhill.15,16,17

     Emily PASKE was born in 1853 in Kedington, Suffolk.1 She was the daughter of George PASKE and Ann BOREHAM.1 Emily PASKE was baptised on 3 July 1853 in Kedington, Suffolk.2
In the census of 7 April 1861 in Common Road, Kedington, Suffolk, she was listed as aged 7, the daughter of George PASK.1
Emily married Frederick BARBER on 8 November 1873 in Haverhill, Suffolk. She was a Spinster, of full age, residing at Burton End, Haverhill. Her father was listed as George Pask, a Labourer. The marriage was witnessed by Charles SMITH, and Emily Maria BARBER.3
In the census of 3 April 1881 in Clements Road, Haverhill, Suffolk, she was listed as aged 29 born in Haverhill, the wife of Frederick BARBER (an Agricultural Labourer, living with his wife Emily and their three children Caroline, Jane, and Frederick.)4

     Henry PASK was born in 1859 in Kedington, Suffolk.1,2 He was the son of George PASKE and Ann BOREHAM.1 Henry PASK was baptised on 29 May 1859 in Kedington, Suffolk.3
In the census of 7 April 1861 in Common Road, Kedington, Suffolk, he was listed as aged 2, the son of George PASK.1
Henry's death was registered in 1862 in the Risbridge registration district.4 Henry was buried on 27 April 1862 in Kedington, Suffolk.5
