     Caroline PASK was born in 1821 in Southwark, London.1,2 She was the daughter of Henry Frost PASK and Ann PERRY.1
Caroline lived at 10 Robert's Place, Newington, London.1
Caroline married Richard MORLAND on 21 January 1844 in St. Peter's, Walworth, London. She was a Spinser of full age, residing at 10 Roberts Place. Her father was listed as Henry Pask, an Umbrella Maker. The marriage was witnessed by Henry Morland, and Caroline Morland.1,3,4 She witnessed the marriage of Elizabeth HOLDERNESS and her brother Joseph Basham PASK on 10 February 1850 in St. Andrew's Church, Holborn, London.5,6
In the census of 30 March 1851 in 13 Catherine Street, Limehouse, London, she was listed as aged 30 born in Southwark, the wife of Richard MORLAND (a Labourer, living with his wife Caroline, and children Richard, Elizabeth, and Caroline. Also listed was a visitor Elizabeth INGRAM aged 15.)2
In the census of 7 April 1861 in 5 Nelson Street, Stepney, London, she was listed as aged 30 born in Southwark, the wife of Richard MORLAND (a Ship Rigger, living with his wife Caroline M., and children Richard C., Elizabeth Nola, Caroline M., Alfred E., and Mary A.)7

     Richard MORLAND was born in 1816 in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey.2,3 Richard married Caroline PASK, daughter of Henry Frost PASK and Ann PERRY, on 21 January 1844 in St. Peter's, Walworth, London. He was a Bachelor of full age, a Mariner residing at 6 East Street. His father was listed as John Morland, a Sawyer deceased. The marriage was witnessed by Henry Morland, and Caroline Morland.1,4,5
In the census of 30 March 1851 in 13 Catherine Street, Limehouse, London, Richard was listed as aged 34 born in Kingston Surrey, the Head of Household; a Labourer, living with his wife Caroline, and children Richard, Elizabeth, and Caroline. Also listed was a visitor Elizabeth INGRAM aged 15.3

George William PASK was born on 27 May 1896 in Balsham, Cambridgeshire.3,1,4 He was the son of Elijah PASK and Olga BASHAM.3 He was baptised on 13 April 1897 in Balsham, Cambridgeshire.5
In the census of 31 March 1901 in Old House Road, Balsham, Cambridgeshire, he was listed as aged 4 born in Balsham, the son of Elijah PASK.3
In the census of 2 April 1911 in High Street, Balsham, Cambridgeshire, he was listed as a Labourer on Farm, aged 14 born in Balsham, the son of Elijah PASK.6
During the 1st World War, he served in Belgium and the North of France. He was a Private in the Army Cyclist Corps (Regimental Number 9672). At the end of the war, he was awarded the Victory Medal, and the British Medal.7,2
George married Elizabeth Martha BUTLER in 1919 in the Linton registration district.8,9,10
A photograph was taken of them together with their young family in circa 1932, when they lived in a 2 up and 2 down house in Doctors Row, Balsham, Cambridgeshire.11
A photograph was taken of them at their daughter Marjorie's wedding in 1950.11
George and Ethel celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1969, and a photograph was taken of them together with their family.11
George died in 1976 in the Cambridge registration district.4

Bernard writes affectionately about his grandfather:
"I knew him very well as a child, because I was sent to England during the summer holidays. I always followed him around and he took me everywere. Lovely man, I'm 65 now and I still miss him. My parents, Sidney George and Madeleine never resided in England but I was sent there to "learn" the language."2

     Elizabeth was also known as Ethel BUTLER.3 She was born on 11 August 1900, in the Newmarket registration district.2,4
Elizabeth married George PASK, son of Elijah PASK and Olga BASHAM, in 1919 in the Linton registration district.1,5,6
A photograph was taken of them together with their young family in circa 1932, when they lived in a 2 up and 2 down house in Doctors Row, Balsham, Cambridgeshire.7
A photograph was taken of them at their daughter Marjorie's wedding in 1950.7
Ethel was in a photograph taken at a village cricket match in Balsham, Cambridgeshire. On the left is Gladys CRANE, and on the right is Gwen CLARKSON.3,8
George and Ethel celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1969, and a photograph was taken of them together with their family.7
Elizabeth died in February 1994 in Bethany House, Little Paxton, Huntingdonshire, at the age of 93.2,9

Sidney George PASK1

Sidney George Pask (1920-1990)

     In Belgium, everyone knew him as "Georges" because Sidney is an unknown name over there.2
Sidney George PASK was born on 28 March 1920, in the Linton registration district.3,4 He was the son of George William PASK and Elizabeth Martha BUTLER.3 Sidney served in World War II, he enlisted on 6 June 1940. Little did he know that exactly four years later to the day, he was to take part in the Normandy landings. He also saw action in North Africa (1st Army), Italy (Salerno landings), France, and Germany. Finally he served in Belgium, where he met his wife Madeleine.2
After World War II, Sidney remained in Belgium. Sidney married Madeleine Irma VERMEESCH on 17 April 1945 in Ostend, Belgium. Sidney was the first Englishman to be married in Ostend after the war.5,6
His wife, Madeleine, died on 22 January 1964 at the age of 41. Sidney returned to England.6,5
Sidney married Winifred D. BROYD on 15 January 1966 in the Cambridge registration district.7,8 Sidney and Winifred were divorced in 1978.7
He was in a photograph, together with all his siblings, taken in 1969 to mark the occasion of his parents' 50th wedding anniversary.9
Sidney remarried Winifred D. RAYNER on 14 September 1985 in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire.10,7
Sidney died on 12 November 1990, at the age of 70, and his death was registered in the Cambridge registration district.1,7,6
Sidney was buried in Balsham, Cambridgeshire.11

     Minnie FLETT was born on 9 July 1892 in Silvertown, Essex.1,2 She was the daughter of William FLETT and Jane FLETT.1 Minnie married Amos C. PASKE, her deceased sister's husband, son of Amos PASKE and Jane PRICE, in 1927 in the West Ham registration district.3,4
Her husband, Amos, died in 1933 in the West Ham registration district.5
At the time of her death, Minnie lived at Howard Lodge, Dudbrook, Navestock, Essex.6
Minnie died on 9 February 1972, at the age of 79, and her death was registered in the Epping registration district.2,6
Her estate was probated on 2 May 1972 at the Ipswich Probate Registry, Ipswich, Suffolk.6
