     Joseph Basham PASK was born on 7 March 1827 in Southwark, London.1,2,3 He was the son of Henry Frost PASK and Ann PERRY.1
At the time of his baptism, he lived with his parents Henry and Ann in Fair Street, Southwark, London.1 Joseph Basham PASK was baptised on 15 April 1827 in St. John, Horsleydown, Southwark, London.1
In the census of 6 June 1841 in Ewer Street, St. Saviour, London, he was listed as the son of Henry Frost PASK.2,4
Joseph married Elizabeth HOLDERNESS on 10 February 1850 in St. Andrew's Church, Holborn, London. He was a Bachelor of full age, a Chair Maker residing in Kirby Street. His father was listed as John PASK, a Mariner. The marriage was witnessed by John PASK, and Caroline PASK (Groom's sister). The entry in the parish record shows the incorrect name, and occupation, of his father - possibly an error of the Curate.5,6
In the census of 30 March 1851 in 10 White Horse Alley, Finsbury, London, Joseph was listed as aged 24 born in Southwark, the Head of Household; a Chair Maker, living with his wife Elizabeth.3
In the census of 7 April 1861 in 9 Oxford Row, St. Pancras, London, Joseph was listed as aged 34 born in Horselydown Surrey, the Head of Household; a Chair & Carriage Caner, living with his wife Elizabeth.7
Joseph died in 1878 in the St. Pancras registration district.8

Research Note: Neither Joseph, or Elizabeth were found in the 1871 Census.2

In the census of 2 April 1871 in 24 Portpool Lane, St. Andrew, London, he was listed as aged 26 born in St. Andrews Middlesex, the son of Henry PASK.4,3 In the census of 3 April 1881 in 17 Litcham Street, St. Pancras, London, he was listed as a Chair Caner, aged 40 born in Southwark, the brother-in-law of Elizabeth PASK.2,3

     Louisa May DIAPER was born on 3 May 1901 in Edmonton, Middlesex.1,2,3,4 She was the daughter of Harry DIAPER and Louisa Alice PASK.1 In the census of 2 April 1911 in 14 Grove Street, Edmonton, Middlesex, she was listed as aged 9 born in Edmonton, the daughter of Harry DIAPER.1
Louisa was She worked in a Milliners, making hats.3
Louisa married Cecil GRAY in 1929 in the Edmonton registration district.5,3 She used to run a boarding house in Blackpool taking in RAF officers from the nearby airbase at the end of the second world war, having moved with her husband and children from Enfield to escape the bombing.6
Louisa died in 1969 in the Blackpool registration district.4,6

Research Note: Louisa was known at May. She was the grandmother of Andrea Boardman, who is researching her family history.3

Violet Louise DIAPER1

     Violet Louise DIAPER was born on 24 February 1909 in Edmonton, Middlesex.1,2,3 She was the daughter of Harry DIAPER and Louisa Alice PASK.1 In the census of 2 April 1911 in 14 Grove Street, Edmonton, Middlesex, she was listed as aged 2 born in Edmonton, the daughter of Harry DIAPER.1 At one time Voilet had her own ladies clothing shop in East Finchley called "Violet Modes."4 Violet Louise was also known as Violet Louise DRAPER She never knew the origins of the family name Diaper and was rather embarrassed about it, assuming that it's origins were something to do with nappies. Therefore, she went by the name of Draper. The Diapers were originally bricklayers from Crick in Northamptonshire and even had a road named after them in Rugby. Diapers were expert bricklayers who created all that wonderful diagonal patterning in dark and light brick probably starting in medieval times.3,5
Violet died in April 1997 in the Barnet registration district aged 88.5,3
