Henry PASK1

     Henry PASK was born in 1774 in Stoke by Clare, Suffolk.1,2 He was the son of Peter PASK and Catherine FROST.1 He was a Yeoman.3 Henry PASK witnessed the marriage of William WISEMAN and Hannah PASK on 16 January 1800 in All Saints' Church, Hundon, Suffolk.3,4
Henry married Elizabeth MIHIL on 2 August 1814 in Little Yeldham, Essex. Elizabeth was a widow, and previously married to John Sparrow MIHIL, who was buried at Great Yeldham 21 October 1812. Her maiden name is unknown. John Sparrow MIHIL was baptised 06 January 1752 and was one of two known children of Mark MIHILL (1730-1795) and Deborah LAWSHALL who were married at Great Yeldham on 27 May 1751.3 His wife, Elizabeth , was buried on 25 August 1831.3
Henry married Martha DURRANT.3
Henry died on 5 November 1845 in Braintree, Essex.3

     Hannah PASK was baptised on 17 December 1778 in Stoke by Clare, Suffolk.1,2,3 She was the daughter of Peter PASK and Catherine FROST.1
Hannah married William WISEMAN on 16 January 1800 in All Saints' Church, Hundon, Suffolk. The marriage was witnessed by Henry PASK and Jacob WRIGHT.2,4 Hannah was buried on 30 May 1828 in Hundon, Suffolk.2

John PASK1

     John PASK was baptised on 31 December 1781 in Stoke by Clare, Suffolk.1,2,3 He was the son of Peter PASK and Catherine FROST.1
John married Susan BULLEN on 29 June 1804 in All Saints' Church, Great Thurlow, Suffolk.2,4
His wife, Susan, was buried on 28 April 1817 in St. Peter & St. Paul's Church, Kedington, Suffolk.5
John and Elizabeth COOT were witnesses at the wedding of Samuel GIPPS widower of Kedington and Hannah AMBROSE widow of Steeple Bumstead, Essex. on 26 March 1819.2
John married Elizabeth COOTE on 10 November 1819 in St. Peter & St. Paul's Church, Kedington, Suffolk.2,6,7,8
In the census of 6 June 1841 in Pigg's Street, Kedington, Suffolk, John was listed as aged 50, the Head of Household; an Agricultural Labourer, assumed to be living with his wife Elizabeth.9
In the census of 6 June 1841 he was a neighbour of Henry PASKE.9
John's death was registered in 1849 in the Risbridge registration district.10 He was buried on 25 July 1849 in St. Peter & St. Paul's Church, Kedington, Suffolk.11

Research Note: Edwin writes: "In order to discover the wives of John one had to do some informed guesswork, eliminating those known to have married other John PASKs. However without any hard evidence such as census the conclusions may be inaccurate.
On the 26th March 1819 John PASK and Elizabeth COOT were witnesses at the wedding of Samuel GIPPS widower of Kedington and Hannah AMBROSE widow of Steeple Bumstead, Essex. On all three marriage entries John signed his name PASK, most of the other people were only able to manage a X mark.
In the will of his brother Henry made about 1837, John was said to be of Sturmer, Essex. However he was not there in 1841

     George Henry PASK was baptised on 5 January 1791 in Stoke by Clare, Suffolk.2,3 He was the son of Peter PASK and Rebecca BASHAM.1
George married Maria BROWNING on 6 July 1817 in St. Saviour, London.2
On July 1818, at the time of the death of their daughter Maria PASK, George and Maria lived in Duke Street, St. George's Field, Southwark, London.4
On 31 October 1819, at the time of the baptism of their daughter Amelia PASK, George and Maria lived in Tower Street, Southwark, London. George was a Shoemaker.5
On 30 June 1837, at the time of a joint baptism of their children Emma, Ann, Charles, Mary Ann, Susanna, and Rebecca, George and Maria lived at Gloucester Street, Lambeth, London. George was a Cordwainer.6
In the census of 6 June 1841 in Lower Street, St. George the Martyr, London Road, Southwark, London, George was listed as the Head of Household; a ShoeMaker, assumed to be living with his wife Maria, and children Rebecca, Ann, Charles, Emma, James, and George.7,8

Also listed was Sara Ann SMITH a Lodger, an Annuitant aged 60 born in Bromley Kent.11
George witnessed the marriage of his daughter Ann PASK and William James WILSON on 22 March 1852 in St. George the Martyr Church, Southwark, London.12,13,14,15

In the census of 7 April 1861 in 12 Tower Street, Southwark, London, George was listed as aged 70 born in Stoke Suffolk, the Head of Household; a Shoemaker, living with his wife Clarissa, and son [step-son] Thomas METCALF.21
George died on 11 March 1863 in 12 Tower Street, Southwark, London, at the age of 72.2,22,23 He was buried on 18 March 1863 in West Norwood Cemetery, Lambeth, London.23

Research Note: Edwin writes: Charles Alfred had brothers: George Henry, Joseph Basham, and possibly Henry Frost. Also he had sisters: possibly Phoebe, and Maria Louisa. Although these are assumption, these have been included.1

Research Note: In the marriage certificate of Eliza PASK, her father was stated as George PASK, a Boot Maker. This could be either the father George Henry PASK, or his son George Henry PASK, who were both Boot Makers. Eliza's birth certificate cannot be found. Additionally we cannot find her in the 1851 census.24

Henry married Ann PERRY on 29 May 1820 in Saint Anne Soho, Westminster, London. The marriage was witnessed by Hannath ...tman & Hannah PERRY.3,4,5,6
On 26 May 1822, at the time of the baptism of their son Henry Frost PASK, Henry and Ann lived in Lime Street, Southwark, London. Henry was an Umbrella Maker.7 He witnessed the marriage of John Wells GARRETT and his sister Caroline Matilda PASK on 24 October 1825 in Christchurch, Newgate Street, London City, London.8,9,10

In letters to William Alfred PASK II, from Henry Augustus ROSE his cousin, later in life, it seems that Henry Augustus moved to Accrington, Lancashire with his wife and family. Charles George went to London and Walter probably stayed in Suffolk."2

     George ROSE was baptized on 25 July 1824 in the Ebenezer Wesleyan Chapel, Ipswich, Suffolk. His parents were George and Ann, and his father was a Coachmaker. He had two sisters, Keziah and Miriam who was baptised on 25 July 1824.2
George married Susan PASK, daughter of Charles Alfred PASK I and Susan CASTELL, on 22 April 1845 in St Matthews Church, Ipswich, Suffolk. witnessed by Charles Alfred PASK, and Caroline EVERARD?1,2

He was listed as a Paper Maker aged 15 born in Ipswich, in the census of 7 April 1861 at Albert Street, Ipswich, Suffolk. The three brothers (Charles, Henry, and Walter) were lodgers of Elizabeth PUNCHARD. Also listed was Charles HARDY, a Paper Maker another Lodger (of the same age as their father.)5
Charles George ROSE were named as beneficiaries in Charles Alfred PASK I's will made on 8 December 1861.6

In the census of 5 April 1891 in Morpeth Road, Bethnal Green, London, Charles was listed as "Chas", aged 45 born in Ipswich Suffolk, the Head of Household; a Wood Sawyer, living with his wife Martha and their children Albert, Agnes, Walter, and Charles.2
He witnessed the marriage of his daughter, Martha Agnes ROSE and William HOUGHTON on 14 April 1900 in St. John of Jerusalem, Hackney, London.13,14,15,16
In the census of 31 March 1901 in 34 Lark Row, Bethnal Green, London, Charles was listed as aged 55 born in Ipswich Suffolk, the Head of Household; a Wood Sawyer, living with his wife Martha and their children Walter, and Charles. Also listed was John STYMAN, a Boarder.17
In the census of 2 April 1911 in 34 Lark Row, Bethnal Green, London, Charles was listed as aged 65 born in Ipswich Suffolk, the Head of Household; a Wood Sawyer, living with his wife Martha and their son Charles.18
Charles died in 1926 in the Bethnal Green registration district.11,19
His wife's, Martha, death was registered in 1930 in the Poplar registration district.20,11

Research Note: The 1911 census details that they had five children, and that one died. This child needs to be identified.18
