In the census of 7 April 1861 in 8 Hare Court, St. Botolph, London, Joseph was listed as aged 46 born in St. Giles Cripplegate, the Head of Household; a Booksellers Porter, living with his wife Harriet, and daughters Harriet and Rebecca.7
In the census of 2 April 1871 in Paul's Alley, Cripplegate, London, Joseph was listed as a Widower, aged 58 born in the City of London, the Head of Household.8 At the time of his daughter Harriet's marriage in in 1871, he was listed as a Bookbinder.9
Joseph died in 1873 in the Poplar registration district.10

Research Note: By coincidence Harriet TALBOT née PASQUE, and Eliza DAVIS née PASK lived in the same road - Vicarage Road, Willesden, Middlesex in the 1891 census. Also in the 1901 census they continuedto live close by in Willesden. There is no known relationship between these two families.11,16
