     Edward Leslie PASK was born on 11 May 1908 in Lincoln, Lincolnshire.1,2 He was the son of Edward PASK and Fanny Maria ARDRON.1 In the census of 2 April 1911 in 10 Palmer Street, Lincoln, Lincolnshire, he was listed as aged 2 born in Lincoln, the son of Edward PASK.3
Edward was in a photograph.4
Edward died on 24 May 1936, at the age of 28, and his death was registered in the Leicester registration district.1,5
Edward, and his wife Fanny, are buried together with their sons Joseph, and Edward in a family grave at Plot D127, Newport Cemetery, Lincoln, Lincolnshire.6,7

Joseph was in a photograph.3
Joseph died on 28 October 1931, at the age of 18, and his death was registered in the Lincoln registration district.1,4

     Kathleen PASK was born on 8 December 1914 in Lincoln, Lincolnshire.1,2 She was the daughter of Edward PASK and Fanny Maria ARDRON.1
Kathleen married Fred TAYLOR in 1939 in the Lincoln registration district.3
Kathleen was in a photograph with her infant son Fred L. Taylor.4
Her husband, Fred, died on 2 December 1943 at the age of 28.5,6
Kathleen died on 19 November 2004 in Lincoln, Lincolnshire, at the age of 89.1,7,8
Her death was announced in the Lincolnshire Echo, Lincoln, Lincolnshire, on 23 November 2004. It read:
TAYLOR, Kathleen (nee Pask). Passed away at home on 19th November, 2004. Wife of the late Fred Taylor, dear mum to Les, Shirley and Ian, a loving grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Funeral service to be held at St John's Church, Ermine on Friday, 26th November at 11am, interment at Newport Cemetery at 11.30am. Family flowers only. Donations in memory of Kathleen for the Stroke Unit, Lincoln County Hospital may be sent c/o Lincolnshire Co-operative Funeral Services, 12 Portland Street, Lincoln. Telephone 534971.8

Her funeral service was held at St. John's Church, Ermine, Lincolnshire, on 26 November 2004, followed by interment at Newport Cemetery.8

He immigrated on the Largs Bay, departing from London on 29 October 1923, arriving in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, on 3 December 1923.2,3,4
Frank married Doris Eliza PASK, daughter of Edward PASK and Fanny Maria ARDRON, in 1926 in Australia.1,4
Frank served in World War II. He was Private VX71156, in the Australian Infantry (A.I.F.) 39th Battalion.5
Frank was killed in action on 30 August 1942, fighting in World War I in Papua New Guinea.4,5 Frank is commemorated in perpetuity in Panel 5, Port Moresby Memorial, Papua New Guinea.4,5,6
His wife, Doris, died on 19 May 1972 in Preston, Victoria, Australia, at the age of 69.1,7

In the census of 31 March 1901 in Village Street, Boothby Graffoe, Lincolnshire, he was listed as aged 1 born in Lincoln, the grandson of William PASK.1
In the census of 2 April 1911 in 112 High Street, Lincoln, Lincolnshire, he was listed as aged 11 born in Lincoln, the son of Lucy ULYAT.4
Percy married Florence Gertrude HUMPHREY in 1922 in the Lincoln registration district.5
On 29 September 1939, in the 1939 National Register, Percy and his wife Florence, were listed as living in 27 Spencer Street, Lincoln, Lincolnshire. He was born on 3 November 1899, and his occupation was a Chargehand in an Omnibus Garage. Also listed was their eldest son Ralph, and two redacted people.6
Percy died in 1972 in the Lincoln registration district.7
His wife's, Florence, death was registered in 1980 in the Rochdale registration district.8

Research Note: His date of birth needs to be verified. In the 1901 census, it says he was born in 1900. In the GRO Online Index, it says his birth was registered in 1901/Q3. In the GRO Index, it implies there was a modification, and that he was born in 1899/Q4. In the 1939 Register it says he was born on 3 November 1899. Similiarily, his death registration shows his date of birth as 3 November 1899.3,2,7

     Mary PASK was born on 9 March 1864 in Navenby, Lincolnshire.2,3 She was the daughter of William PASK and Rebecca MABBOTT.1,2

In the census of 2 April 1871 in Welbourn, Lincolnshire, she was listed as aged 7 born in Navenby, the daughter of William PASK.1

In the census of 3 April 1881 in High Street, Brant Broughton, Lincolnshire, she was listed as a General Servant Dom [Domestic] aged 17 born in Navenby, a Servant of William EVERITT a Farmer of 445 acres employing 12 Lab [Labourers] and 5 boys.4

Mary married William BLACK on 19 July 1885 in the Free Methodist Chapel, Silver Street, Lincoln, Lincolnshire.5,3,6
Their marriage was reported in the Lincolnshire Chronicle, Lincoln, Lincolnshire, on 24 July 1885.6

In the census of 5 April 1891 in 27 Staunton Street, St. Mary-le-Wigford, Lincoln, Lincolnshire, she was listed as aged 27 born in Navenby, the wife of William BLACK (a General Labourer, living with his wife Mary, and children Jennie, William, Ada, and George M.)5

In the census of 31 March 1901 in Burton Lane End, Burton, Lincolnshire, she was listed as aged 37 born in Navenby, the wife of William BLACK (a Foreman on Farm, living with his wife Mary, and their children William, Ada, George, Eva, Arthur, and Fred. Also listed was William CARR a Boarder.)7

In the census of 2 April 1911 in 35 Hope Street, Lincoln, Lincolnshire, she was listed as aged 48 born in Navenby, married 26 years, 14 children - 12 living 2 dead, the wife of William BLACK (a Labourer, living with his wife Mary, and their children George, Eva, Arthur, Fred, Harry, John Victor, Elsie Mary, Dora Annie, and Cyril Stanley.)8

Mary was probably in a group family photograph taken in 1926.9,10

Her husband, William, died on 16 November 1938 in Lincoln, Lincolnshire, at the age of 80.3

Mary died on 4 August 1939 in Timberland, Lincolnshire, at the age of 75.3,11 She was buried in August 1939 in Timberland, Lincolnshire.12
Her death, and funeral, were reported in the Stamford Mercury on 18 August 1939, and the Lincolnshire Echo.12,10 It read:
The Death took place of Mrs. Mary Black, at the age of 75, at her home in Timberland. The deceased was the widow of the late Mr. William Black, of Lincoln.
Mrs. Black has lived in Timberland for the past three years, and came from Lincoln to be near her sons. She has had fairly good health, but was taken ill a fortnight ago. She leaves ten children; one son lives in Australia. The funeral took place at Timberland parish church the Vicar (Rev. W. M. Dixon) officiating.
Amongst the mourners were: Mr. Fred Black (son, Portsmouth), Mrs. Jennie Donson (daughter, Lincoln). Mr. H. Black (son, Timberland), Mrs. Ada Spicer (daughter, Sutton-in-Ashfleld), Mr. John Victor Black (son, Lincoln), Miss Elsie Black (daughter, SouthSea), Mr. Cyril Black (son, Timberland), Mrs. Eva Bunn (daughter, Lincoln), Mrs. Dora Foster (daughter, Lincoln), Mr. Bob Black (grandson, Lincoln), Mr. Foster (son-in-law, Lincoln), Mrs. H. Black (daughter-in-law, Timberland), Mr. Donson (son-in-law, Lincoln) ; Miss M. Barrand and other friends, including Mr. Hill, Mrs. Hicks, Mr. and Mrs. T. Goy. Mr. and Mrs. J. Goy, Mr. and Mrs. T. Hessell, and others. There were many beautiful floral tributes.12,10


Research Note: There were two Mary Pask's registered in 1864/Q2. Mary PASK, born to Henry & Elizabeth PASK née ASMAN, and the second Mary PASK, born to William & Rebecca PASK née MABBOTT.13,14

In the census of 31 March 1901 in Burton Lane End, Burton, Lincolnshire, William was listed as aged 43 born in Waddington, the Head of Household; a Foreman on Farm, living with his wife Mary, and their children William, Ada, George, Eva, Arthur, and Fred. Also listed was William CARR a Boarder.4
In the census of 2 April 1911 in 35 Hope Street, Lincoln, Lincolnshire, William was listed as aged 53 born in Waddington, the Head of Household; a Labourer, living with his wife Mary, and their children George, Eva, Arthur, Fred, Harry, John Victor, Elsie Mary, Dora Annie, and Cyril Stanley.5
William died on 16 November 1938 in Lincoln, Lincolnshire, at the age of 80.2
His wife, Mary, died on 4 August 1939 in Timberland, Lincolnshire, at the age of 75.2,6
